Lady P Cards

Handmade greeting cards for Christmas and all other occasions.  Paula is an independent producer of quality handmade greeting cards and offers a wide range of designs for all occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Christmas, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Valentines, Easter and any special occasion as required.  You can contact her by e-mail Ladypcards@hotmail.co.uk.

Mary Bradley - Pressed Flower Craft

Mary has been pressing flowers for 20 years, she started after a visit to the library and taking home a book on the subject.  Once the flowers and leaves are pressed she uses them in cards, bookmarks, pictures, paperweights, key-rings, notelets to decorate boxes and much more.  She is happy to take orders and aslo willing to talk to any club or association on her hobby.  Please contact Mary on 01638 664808.

Terrie - Dolls clothes, crochet Animals and bookmarks

Terrie started making dolls clothes when she was a little girl and no doll was to small to have new clothes.  She then learnt how to crochet so her dolls then got jumpers and blankets.  After the learning how to do crochet she then started to make clothes for soft toys, followed by crochet animals and finger puppets. 

Her most popular item is her crochet sheep, she also likes to make double sided bookmarks.  Like most of our crafters she likes to dabble and find new things to make.

Josie Smith - Cards & Other Items

Joise has handmade cards for all occasions, they can be personalised and she also makes handmade baby cardigans, scarves, shawls.  She sometimes has tapestry wool and assorted craft items available.

Cand S Crafts

C & S Crafts use fleece and cotton to make a wide range of items from scarves/neck warmers/snoods to wheatbags/door stops and eco-bags.  They are also now supplying patchwork and quilting fabric, as well as promoting a craft group within the Stowmarket area.  Please contact them on candscrafts1109@aol.com or visit their website www.candscrafts.co.uk.

Linda's Crafts - Homemade Goodies

Linda's passion is for creating all manner of homemade goodies.  For the tastebuds she produces an array of sweet jams, juicy marmalades and tangy chutneys, for the children she knits a range of cosy cardigans and woollen accessories and for the garden she paints unique clay pots to complement your favourite plants.  Please contact her on larkvalley@btinternet.com.

Lesley Whittaker - Character Mice

She has been making handmade Lavender filled character mice which are completely handmade in Suffolk for nearly 20 years.  She has approx 50 different characters, and she will take on commissions for one off designs for a special occasion.

Ann John - Needlecrafts

Ann has made a love of sewing from the time she could reach the treadle on her nan's old treadle sewing machine through to now.  She makes many and varied items from embroidered greetings cards to bags. 

Basket of Threads - Fabric Craft & more

Basket of Threads use cotton to make a wide range of items from door stops to shopper bags, make up bags and lots more.  Basket of Threads is run by Jacky Waterman.

Sandra Sturman

I work full time at my local primary school.  Were we had a visit from a group of felt makers - this is where I learnt the technique of felt making.  This lead me to start felting as a hobby and with encouragement from family and friends I deceided to bring my crafts to Horringer.

The Potting Shed - Knitted Figurines

I'm Jill also know as a nana who knits, in the potting shed at the bottom of my garden (weather permitting). 

All of my creations are hand knitted with love and care.  They are also one off's and can even be crafted to your designs, colour wise etc.

Ros - Cakes & Teas

My name is Ros, also affectionately known as "Mrs Kipling" to my friends and colleagues. 

My mum introduced me to cooking at an early age, I am glad she did as I enjoy experimenting with new recipes on friends and family.

My daughter volunteered me for the refreshments at Horringer and I am please she did, it is a nice atmosphere, friendly and I enjoy meeting the public.

Nahida's - Indian Pickles, Chutneys and much more

Nahida is based in Kesgrave and makes home made Indian pickles, chutneys, jams, marmalades, preserves and much more.  Her receipes have either been passed down from her late mother or she has created them herself.

She tries to only use locally grown produce and provides free tasters at the craft fairs she attends.  If you would like more information then please click here to access her website.

Alan Fairbrass Paintings - Paintings

Original paintings by well known local artist Alan Fairbrass who lived in Horringer Village for over 22 years and now resides in Bury st Edmunds.

There will be over 20 original acrylic paintings of various sizes from 15"x19" up to 20"x 30". Having travelled to Kenya some paintings cover subjects such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions and their cubs. Closer to home are pictures of barn owls, kestrels, kingfishers, teal, robins, foxes, deer and wild horses .

Pictures of rare species such as tigers and pandas will be available to purchase for that unique and very special Christmas gift. This is a fabulous chance to not only view the work of this local artist but to purchase original paintings at unbelievable prices.

 Especially discounted for the Horringer Craft Show, some of the paintings are framed whilst others remained unframed for you to taylor make to your individual homely surroundings. We look forward to your visit and hope that you will find an original painting that will give you many years of pleasure.

Shingle Street Creations - Paintings, cards and crafts

Jane is an artist working primarily in watercolours. She moved to Suffolk four years ago, and takes her inspiration from the natural world, and the local landscape. Her paintings are available as prints and cards.

Jane also crafts, and makes keepsake and memory boxes, and hand-paints wooden boxes in her designs. Jane is a keen 'greenie', and re-uses and upcycles things into new uses.

She is currently turning old coffee tins into new and beautiful things, including storage jars and scented candles. Jane trades under 'Shingle Street Creations'.
